Steel City Kizomba Spring Fever Weekender is a weekend dance event featuring workshops in Kizomba, Afro, and Konpa, along with nightly parties and a daytime social.

There's a parking garage between fourth and fifth avenues (about a block away from the studio) that is $7 on weekends, as well as a number of garages within a short walk. Street parking is also available, usually free after 6pm.

We do not have a hotel room block this year, however there are a number of hotels in downtown Pittsburgh, some within walking distance. There are also hotels in the surrounding areas, within 20 minutes of the venue. Airbnb is also an option.

Downtown Pittsburgh is full of restaurants and bars within walking distance of the venue. Some establishments in downtown close early, so plan accordingly. The studio is BYOB.

Steel City Kizomba Spring Fever Weekender is open to everyone and is NOT a women-only event.
While we are excited to feature an all-women lineup of instructors and DJs, the event itself is the same welcoming, inclusive experience you know from our other events. Dancers of all roles, identities, and experience levels are encouraged to attend.
